The Anthidiellum strigatum is a species of wild bee.

The bee builds its nests from resin, attaching them to stems, trees or stones, and they can most often be found at a height of about 10-50 cm from the ground. One nest is one nesting cell and there can be up to a dozen of them in one place.

The Anthidiellum strigatum most often visits the flowers of common birdsfoot trefoil, sandy jasmine or alfalfa.

This beautiful wild bee is most often found in meadows, sandy areas, dry grasslands or parks and gardens. You will encounter them from June to September.

This information comes from the website „Dzicy zapylacze”, which I highly recommend for a wealth of knowledge about wild bees.

And if you want to have your own little wild bee to cuddle, the patrons of the Together for Bees campaign have been joined by the extraordinary Karolina Brzozowska, who made a mascot.

The artist will donate 15% of each piece to biodiversity and wild bees.
