Apitherapy: The sweet power of bees, a source of health and inspiration
In a vibrant garden of flowers, where the sun paints colorful landscapes, there exists an extraordinary world where industrious bees not only produce honey but also become a source of healing energy for the body and soul. This is the world of apitherapy – a flow of harmony, energy, and health that bees bestow upon us. The art of healing in apitherapy is the beauty of the encounter between humans and nature in its most natural form. Apitherapy uses bee products – honey, propolis, bee bread, royal jelly, bee venom, and pollen – to support health and the balance of the body.
Apiotherapy: The healing paradise in the apidome
Apitherapy is not just about collecting the gifts of bees, it’s a process of breathing nature. In the world of apitherapy, apidomes become a substitute for bee hives, where nature merges with therapy. Apidomes are wooden structures with built-in hives, where the bees are behind a thick mesh, through which only the air from the hive can pass. The hive air contains pheromones produced by the bees and volatile components of products such as honey, bee bread, royal jelly, propolis, and beeswax.
During the session, the participant is placed in the apidome and has full freedom to relax and calm down, engaging the senses. This process has a very positive effect on well-being and vitality, also helping in the prevention and treatment of many diseases: the nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal systems; psycho-emotional disorders, rheumatic, metabolic, hormonal diseases, those caused by reduced immunity, as well as insomnia and allergies.
Apiotherapy is the sum of the interactions of the bee family with the human body. This includes the mentioned hive air, the biofield, microvibrations, the warmth of the bee family, the acoustic effect, and the psycho-emotional impact.
Biofield – Bees, like all other living organisms, generate their own electric potential, called a biofield. This is used by bees to create a unique bioenergetic-informational system. Individuals from the same hive share one biofield, characteristic for the entire bee family, with the central zone being the biofield of the queen bee. The electric potential generated by bees is 12 Hz, while the electric potential of the human brain ranges from 8-14 Hz. Therefore, the healing properties of the strong biofield of the bee family on the weakened biofield of humans result in synchronization and equalization.
Microvibrations – These arise from the movement of the bees’ wings in the hive. The microvibrations of the bee family overlap with the vibration range of the human body. This creates a sort of therapeutic massage, which positively affects the state, function, and renewal of all organs, systems, and tissues in the human body. To enhance this effect, so-called bioresonance hives are built, which contain resonance chambers that amplify the perception of microvibrations.
The Warmth of the Bee Family – The warmth generated by the bee family is maintained at around 35°C, which is close to the temperature of the human body, which is around 36°C. Hence, the therapeutic effect of the warmth generated by these insects on the human body. In this case, it is most beneficial to lie on a wooden bench in the apidome.
Acoustic Effect – The continuous movement of bees within the hive and the movement of their wings acoustically affect the human ear. During the day, under the influence of light, the acoustic effect is clearly audible, while the absence of light causes it to fade. This phenomenon strongly influences brain structures, providing a relaxing and anti-depressant effect, reducing mental fatigue, and improving sleep.
Psycho-emotional Effect – Observing the apiary, the bees, and their work arouses positive emotional feelings in humans, which contributes to the production of endorphins in the brain and stimulates cognitive abilities. This effect is considered a type of therapy, positively influencing perceptions, the subconscious, and the creation of a healthy life image.
How to Prepare?
When going for an apitherapy session, it’s important to remember that you are a guest in the bee environment, and you should not disturb their daily rhythm. Stay calm. You may bring a book, but electronic devices should be left outside the apidome. Bees have an excellent sense of smell and must constantly sense the queen, who releases pheromones. Therefore, before the session in the apidome, avoid using perfumes or strong deodorants.
Contraindications
Primarily allergies to bee products. Absolute contraindications include malignant cancers, tuberculosis, and the presence of metal elements inside the body. People with acute infectious diseases, advanced atherosclerosis, fever, gallstones, kidney stones, and hyperreactivity syndrome should also avoid this therapy.
Investing in the Future of Health
For those who see more in bees than just insects, this is an invitation to invest in health, balance, and the beauty of nature.
