Tribute to Bee, Act Together
It is with immense joy and gratitude that I invite you to this year’s jubilee edition of the Great Exhibition of Bees, which will take place in Wolny Jazdów in Warsaw, from August 8 to October 4, 2025.
This marks the fifth edition of the Together for Bees campaign – five years of collective action, art, dialogue, collaboration, and care for wild pollinators.
This year, the artists’ works and educational materials are displayed across three cabins:
Jazdów 3, Warsaw
• Partner House 10/5
• Common Room 10/2
• House of Science and Adventure 8/2
This exhibition is the culmination of my five-year-long socially engaged art project under the Together for Bees initiative – a project that combines art, craft, ecology, and education.
This year’s edition is titled:
Tribute to Bee, Act Together.
It is a tribute not only to wild bees but also to presence and attentiveness – toward ourselves and nature.
The exhibition also asks a central question:
“Why does it matter?”
It’s an invitation to reflect on the quality of our everyday choices – on what we create, consume, and support.
You’re warmly invited!
This year’s Great Exhibition of Bees takes place in a truly unique location – Wolny Jazdów in Warsaw:
an independent neighborhood of historic Finnish wooden houses, a place of peace and creative freedom nurtured for the past 13 years by its local community.
Exhibition dates: August 8 – October 4, 2025
Free entry
The exhibition launches on August 8, in celebration of World Bee Day!
Exhibition locations:
• Partner House 10/5
• Common Room 10/2
• House of Science and Adventure 8/2
More than 150 artistic bees will be on display – sculptures, illustrations, utilitarian forms, and installations created by artists from Poland and beyond, weaving a rich and multi-voiced story about biodiversity, solitary bee species (nearly 500 of which live in Poland!), and our role in protecting their habitats.
Participating artists include:
Aleksandra Waliszewska, Joanna Sarapata, Pola Dwurnik, Martyna Czech, Natalia Olbiński, Bartek Kiełbowicz, Stanisław Brach, Wiktor Stribog, Joanna Czajkowska, Sylwia Zawiślak, and many more from around the world.
More than art – a collaborative mission
The Great Exhibition of Bees is not only about art – it is also about craft and community collaboration.
The project includes Bee Patrons – brands, artists, and creators who produce unique, bee- and nature-inspired products. Part of the proceeds from their sales goes to the artists, and part supports efforts to protect wild pollinators and biodiversity.
This is a core value of the exhibition: to promote responsible production and recognize those behind the products we choose to support.
Among our Bee Patrons who have adopted a bee or created a dedicated product are:
Ćmielów Porcelain Factory, Stanisław Brach, Loft Kulinarny, Szmat Skład, Totem Warsaw Studio, Siostry Plotą, Blisko Ceramika, and many more.
