Join the Great Exhibition of Bees 2026
Together for Bees invites artists, illustrators, designers and creatives from around the world to take part in the next edition of the Great Exhibition of Bees — a unique, ever-growing international project at the intersection of art, nature and biodiversity.
The exhibition is dedicated to wild bees and other wild pollinators, exploring their beauty, importance and fragility through diverse contemporary artistic perspectives.

WHAT IS THE GREAT EXHIBITION OF BEES?
For over five years, the Great Exhibition of Bees has been continuously growing — just like nature should.
Each year, new artists join the project, and with them appear new artistic bees — symbolic ambassadors reminding us that biodiversity thrives through diversity, care and collaboration. As the number of artworks increases, so does the message: nature needs space to grow, and we are all responsible for protecting it.
The Great Exhibition of Bees is the first exhibition in the world that grows every year, expanding with new artworks, voices and stories — mirroring the biodiversity we aim to protect.
TOGETHER FOR BEES
Together for Bees is an artistic and educational initiative connecting artists, cultural institutions and audiences who share a deep respect for nature and ecological balance.
The Great Exhibition of Bees has taken place in previous years as unique, time-based exhibitions:
Each edition presented original artworks by invited and open-call artists in curated exhibition spaces.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The open call is addressed to:

Artists at all stages of their creative journey are welcome.
WHAT KIND OF WORK ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We invite artists to submit an artwork depicting:
- a wild bee (not a honeybee)
- or another wild pollinator
All artistic styles and techniques are welcome.
Digital artworks are especially suitable for the upcoming edition.
Each submitted work becomes part of a larger, collective story — a growing visual archive dedicated to pollinators and biodiversity.
WHY TAKE PART?
By joining the Great Exhibition of Bees, artists:
- become part of a unique international artistic initiative
- contribute to raising awareness about biodiversity and environmental responsibility
- have their work presented within curated exhibitions and online platforms
Additionally, selected artists are invited to paid collaborations, co-creating unique products as part of the Together for Bees collection — including art objects, prints and designed items that support the mission of the project.
HOW TO APPLY?
To take part in the Great Exhibition of Bees, please follow the steps below:

Express your interest

Receive full information
You will receive all necessary information by email, including the terms of participation and the agreement for taking part in the project. -
Submit your artwork
The deadline for submitting artworks for the 2026 edition is April 30, 2026. -
Participation terms
Participation in the exhibition is voluntary and pro bono.
