Great Exhibition of Bees 2025
On August 8, 2025, the gardens of Wolny Jazdów in Warsaw hosted a truly special event – the opening of the jubilee edition of the Great Exhibition of Bees and the celebration of the 5th anniversary of Together for Bees. It was a day full of conversations, smiles, and shared joy – a day that reminded us how much can be achieved when we act together.
The Great Exhibition of Bees is spread across three houses in Wolny Jazdów:
-
Partnership House 10/5
-
House 10/2 Common Room
-
House 8/2 Workshop of Science and Adventure
Address: Jazdów 3, Warsaw – free admission.
A celebration of art, nature, and community
The exhibition marks the culmination of five years of artistic, educational, and community work. This year’s theme, “Tribute to Bee, Act Together,” carried a particularly powerful meaning during the opening – both as a tribute to bees and as a reminder of the strength of collective action for biodiversity.
Visitors could admire over 150 artistic interpretations of bees created by artists from Poland and abroad, including:
Aleksandra Waliszewska, Joanna Sarapata, Pola Dwurnik, Martyna Czech, Natalia Olbiński, Bartek Kiełbowicz, Stanisław Brach, Wiktor Stribog, Joanna Czajkowska, Sylwia Zawiślak.
The presentation of the works was curated by artist Zuza Miśko, whose beautiful plant illustrations became a metaphorical wildflower meadow for all pollinators. The design and composition of all the exhibition boards was created by the talented artist and graphic designer Adrianna Zdziarska, whose work is also featured in the Great Exhibition of Bees.
The event also featured creators and brands presenting bee-inspired and nature-inspired products. We had the chance to discover the products of all the Bee Patrons, with live presentations from: Madzia Kuczko with a beautiful handmade plate, Magda Sawka with her own designed greeting cards, Ju (Julia) creating ceramic bumblebee-shaped pins, Notka with handcrafted notebooks, and Dorota from Otodorka who prepared special mini versions of plush bees. Zaria from Szmat Skład also presented her work, showcasing a premiere coat made from a blanket designed especially for the project.Their presence reminded us how beautiful and meaningful it is to work together – both in art and in caring for the natural world.
Education and discovering wild pollinators
The exhibition also included a unique educational component prepared by Pasieka24 in collaboration with biologist Martyna Walerowicz. Visitors could discover fascinating facts about wild bees and their essential role in ecosystems. These educational materials have also been published in the form of a beautifully designed album, which will soon be presented in more detail.
5 years together!
Celebrating Together for Bees’ birthday
This day was a true celebration of collaboration, creativity, and care for bees. The project’s curator, Diana Dyba, shared her joy from meeting artists, partners, and media:
“It was a beautiful day, and I’m deeply grateful for all the conversations, smiles, and for simply being together today! These wonderful encounters and collective energy reminded me how much strength comes from acting together for a shared purpose.”
What’s next?
The Great Bee Exhibition will remain open to visitors until October 4, 2025, and the upcoming meetings and future editions of the project will continue to show that Together for Bees is not only an exhibition – it is a space for education, inspiration, and real action to protect wild bees and biodiversity.
During the celebration, all the artists and creators had the chance to appear on Radio Czwórka in the program “Szanuj Zieleń” hosted by journalist Marta Hoppe.
In the broadcast, we spoke together about the origins of the Together for Bees initiative and the Great Exhibition of Bees. The artists shared stories about their works and the techniques they used to create their bees, while Maciej Podyma – president of Fundacja Łąka – talked about the beauty of Wolny Jazdów. We then went on a lovely walk through the exhibition, discovering the secrets and unique corners of this special place.
The program also included a look into the exhibition’s future plans. At the beginning of October, thanks to a collaboration with the Sadowski Family Foundation, another truly natural artwork will be added – together with the Warsaw Greenery Board, we will sow a beautiful wildflower meadow.

See you at the next events – together for bees!
We also had the great pleasure of welcoming Anna Grużewska, editor-in-chief of Czas na Wnętrze magazine. Czas na Wnętrze is a media patron of the event, and I believe that thanks to this partnership even more wonderful artists and creators will gain recognition.
Guests also received a copy of Czas na Wnętrze as a gift, featuring a special anniversary interview with the organizer, Diana Dyba.
If you’d like to read the interview, you can find it here.
The event was supported by media partners: Czas na Wnętrze, Czwórka Polskie Radio, Pasieka24, Magazyn Pszczelarstwo,
Event partners included: Wolny Jazdów, Fundacja Łąka, Zielona Mrówka Fundacja, Fundacja Rodzin Sadowskich, Targi Kielce, Expo2Bee, On Paper, Górnołużyckie Stowarzyszenie Pszczelarzy w Zgorzelcu.
